In the Beverly Hills and Santa Monica area – Implant, Sedation, and General Dentist

Many patients who have been affected by major dental issues such as severe decay and broken or missing teeth may feel that their smiles are beyond saving.  Worse, people in such a situation are often reluctant to seek dental treatment out of anxiety and nervousness, fearing that correcting their smiles will be inordinately painful.

Fortunately for these people, the Beverly Hills and Santa Monica area practice of implant and sedation dentist Jonathan Rudner offers highly advanced dental treatments that can restore beauty to even the most severely neglected smile.  Using attractive replacement teeth anchored to dental implants, we can fill the gaps in your smile, restoring both oral functionality and aesthetic appeal.  And with the sedation dentistry options available at our office, even the most nervous patients can obtain the treatment they need without suffering from unnecessary fear or pain.  By combining these treatments with others such as porcelain veneers, tooth-colored fillings, and teeth whitening, we can provide an attractive, healthy smile to nearly anyone.

Because we care about the health of our patients, we also offer general dentistry treatments and procedures designed to help you achieve optimal oral and dental health, including regular cleanings and checkups, oral cancer screenings, and X-rays to detect cavities when they are nearly invisible and easily treatable.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth can cause a number of problems. In addition to the appearance problems and loss of self-confidence that accompany a gap-toothed smile, the loss of natural teeth can lead to the migration of other teeth, difficulties with eating and speaking normally, increased risk of gum disease and tooth decay, and even deterioration of the jawbone.

Fortunately, thanks to modern developments in implant dentistry, all of these problems can be corrected with attractive replacement teeth attached to dental implants.  Beverly Hills and Santa Monica implant dentist Jonathan Rudner excels at treating patients who are missing one or many teeth and creating natural-looking results that are both completely functional and strikingly attractive.

Dental implants are titanium-based artificial tooth roots that are implanted in the jawbone to provide stable anchoring points for aesthetically attractive replacement teeth.  Because titanium readily integrates with natural bone material, there is no chance that the implants will be rejected by the body.  Once the implants are fully osseointegrated, long-lasting, attractive artificial teeth will be attached to them.  Your new restorations will be color-matched to blend in with your natural teeth, creating a seamlessly natural-looking and appealing smile.  To find out more about what we can do to restore your smile using dental implants, schedule an appointment with Beverly Hills implant dentist Jonathan Rudner today.

Inlays and Onlays

Dental inlays and onlays are custom-made restorations placed in rear teeth which have been damaged by tooth decay or cracks.  Inlays are placed within the interior of damaged teeth to fill areas where decay has been removed, while onlays are placed on the exterior of damaged teeth to help restore structural integrity and proper shape. Both inlays and onlays can be constructed of tooth-colored material to blend invisibly with your smile and create a completely natural-looking appearance while restoring normal chewing ability.

Crowns

Dental crowns are used to cover teeth which have been damaged too badly by either decay or injury for a filling, inlay, or onlay to repair. The placement of dental crowns typically involves preparing the tooth to receive the crown by removing any decayed tooth matter, then fabricating a custom-designed crown to match your smile. A temporary crown will be placed to allow you to function normally while your long-term crown is prepared, then once your new crown is ready you will return to our office where it will be firmly bonded in place. Dental crowns can also be anchored to dental implants.

Bridges

In situations where a patient has lost a tooth, placement of a dental bridge can help them regain the appearance of a gap-free smile and restore proper chewing ability. A bridge consists of an attractive artificial tooth which is fastened to crowns placed over the teeth on either side of the missing tooth, bridging the gap and preventing movement of the surrounding teeth while creating a beautiful smile. Custom-fitted dental bridges are an excellent treatment for tooth loss and provide a durable, natural appearance.

Sedation Dentistry

While many people tend to associate dental visits with nervousness or pain, we can take the fear out of dental visits for even the most anxious of patients using the modern advancements in dental sedation available at Century City Aesthetic Dentistry. When you come in to our office for an appointment, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica sedation dentist Jonathan Rudner can discuss your dental fears with you and recommend a sedation dentistry treatment that will allow you to receive the treatment you need without experiencing undue anxiety.  In fact, due to the deep state of relaxation induced by dental sedation, we can even complete several visits' worth of dental treatment in only one visit and cut down on your time spent shuttling to and from our office.

When you schedule a sedation dentistry treatment at our Santa Monica and Beverly Hills-area office, sedation dentist Jonathan Rudner will provide you with medication that will relax you before your dental work begins.  While you may not be fully unconscious, you will experience a deep state of relaxation and you will not suffer any significant anxiety, pain, or fear.  You may even sleep through your treatment!  During your appointment, you will be monitored at all times by Dr. Rudner and members of our highly trained staff to ensure your safety. Afterwards, you will likely recall few details of your treatment, and you will have a rejuvenated, healthy smile that you'll be proud to call your own.
